Dominic Ford’s iBook
Dominic Ford, a name that is now synonymous with technical innovation, has become the first adult producer to publish an interactive iBook, Apple’s new format that uses iBooks 2.0 on the iPad. The new format, which promises interactive content, is being heralded for its revolutionary approach to text books.
Ford, however, sees the format as a way to reach a new audience. “We have never done much in the way of non-web publication. This format allows us to experiment with print layouts, but with the added bonus of adding terrific interactivity. Volume I of “Inside Dominic Ford” offers a short glimpse of who I am, what makes me tick, and what I’m doing with Dominic Ford. There are exclusive photo galleries included in the book, and also video. In the book, we are releasing a never seen before blooper real of superstar Matthew Rush and Preson Steel. Comments Ford, “Without giving it away, I’ll simply say that sometimes my directions aren’t very clear.” Ford adds, “I’ve kept Volume I short to make the download time quick. If there is interest in future volumes, they might be longer or include even more video in them.”

Dominic Ford has large track record for being the “first” to do many things.
